How long will it take to get my cow?
All the shares of a cow must be sold before it is brought to the processing facility. This is the main way we are able to offer certified organic, certified grassfed beef at a reasonable price. Bruce can supply approximately 10 cows a week. So, for orders placed during the week, Bruce will deliver the appropriate number of cows at the plant on Monday. They will age in the cooler for 14 days. Then once you are invoiced we’ll ship your cow! The short answer is, less than a month.
Why don’t you offer free shipping?
Offering free shipping is misleading at best. Nothing is free. Other companies that are offering free shipping include the cost of shipping in their $/lb. We do not because we do not think that is best for the consumer. The cow costs what it costs, same with shipping. You pay OUR shipping costs, they are NEVER inflated. We have worked extremely hard to negotiate the best rates with UPS. You get our cost, period.
What cuts do I get?
25% steaks, 25% roasts, and 50% ground beef. Steak cuts are approximately 1 inch thick.
In each 1/4 share we’ll prepare:
4 Ribeye Steaks
4 NY Strip Steaks
4 Tenderloin Steaks
4 Sirloin Steaks
4 Sirloin Tip Steaks
4 packages of Stew Meat
2 package of either Short or Beef Ribs
4 packages of Minute Steaks
Chuck and Round Roasts
Approx. 40 - 50 lbs. of Ground Beef
In addition you could receive:

Why is my meat marked “Not For Sale?”
Because it has to be, by law. You bought a cow, a live animal, Not meat. 9CFR316.16 requires that we mark your meat "Not for Sale" immediately after processing. Rest assured, there is nothing wrong with your meat.
Do I need to be home for delivery?
No. However, as we are shipping you a frozen product, it would be best to bring it inside and place it in your freezer.
Where do you deliver?
We ship to contiguous 48 states.
How much does shipping cost?
Between $0.45/lb and $0.75/lb depending on how far you are from us.

Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards as well as Paypal. Paypal Credit is an excellent way to finance your purchase for up to six months at zero percent interest.
